You are more than your Disability

Wow, can you believe that it is 2021 already?

Last year will definitely be one for the record books!

I have recently got into watching LA Law on Prime Video.

And the episode involved a little person representing a kid that was seeking money for his pajamas caught on fire and it burned his face just a little bit. In his opening statement, this lawyer started talking about how he was more than his disability, that he went to Law School so that other people would not laugh at him. He continued to say that some people do still chuckles at him and that he rises above it, but takes it to help his clients.

That really spoke to me.

I realized that I am more than just not having any hands.

I am bubbly

I am strong

I am confident

I am funny

I am a hard worker

I also adapt to the things around me, because that is how I was raised and that is how I figure things out.

That can be you as well.
